Our name Jamu ~ Jamu is taken from the time-honoured Javanese medicinal remedies and tonics, created from fresh blended ingredients, which are sold everyday on the streets of Indonesia. Capturing the life force of indigenous plants, flowers, roots, barks, herbs, fruits and spices, this holistic therapy for inner and outer beauty is derived from the science of Asian Homeopathy and Aromatherapy enhanced by Chinese, Arabic and Ayurvedic influences. Eluding the theories and logic of modern medicine, Indonesian jamu is a traditional healthcare system, sometimes known for curing even the so-called “incurable” diseases.
